Connect Cue to ChatGPT via MCP Apps

Connect Cue to ChatGPT

Use Cue with ChatGPT by creating an MCP app connection.

Prerequisites

You need a ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Team account with developer mode enabled.

Create a Cue App

  1. In ChatGPT, go to Settings > Apps
  2. Enable Developer mode if not already enabled
  3. Click Create app
  4. Enter:
    • Name: Cue
    • MCP Server URL: https://api.oncue.so/mcp
    • Authentication type: OAuth
  5. Check the "I understand and want to continue" checkbox
  6. Click Create
  7. You'll be redirected to Cue to log in and approve the connection
  8. Once approved, Cue is available in your chats

Start Using Cue

Try asking ChatGPT:

"What social accounts do I have in Cue?"

ChatGPT will connect to Cue and show your accounts. From there, you can schedule posts directly in your conversation!

Example Prompts

  • "Schedule 'Big announcement coming!' for tomorrow at 10am on Twitter"
  • "Save this as a draft: Working on something exciting..."
  • "What posts do I have scheduled this week?"
  • "List my connected social accounts"

Troubleshooting

Authentication keeps failing
